Family Circus: Kern Style!

This is up on my blog too, but in case you don't make it there, I thought this was a bit amusing for a Friday.

If you think this is bad, you should see the captions I did for Mary Worth. Who knew she had a mouth like the bastard child of a longshoreman and a phone sex operator?

Thank you Kern - you just made my morning... and you have covered the gaping whole that is the Damfinoblog this week.

I am too busy with my toys to post.

Sex toys?

I hear the oral gratifier with the catchy title "Jaws" is pretty good.

Sadly I am just playing with my iPod - new and exciting toy for me.

Watched some Tiki Bar on the way to work today... yes I can drive and watch TV at the same time!!!

Well, I guess if traffic is light enough.

So far the only responses I've heard on Kern Returns '06 are Emily and Mastrofski. I guess its still early though. Mastrofski said he thought he saw Lisa in town over Christmas, but wasn't able to talk to her. I sent invites to her and Heidi in the hopes that if on the off chance they might be visiting DM over the summer anyway they might try to make it.

Perhaps you could spread the word to Jerry, Johnson, Bob and Kristina, etc.?

I might have a moment to mention it to them.

Thank you, my good man.

What's the word on the Mac?

I was fully prepared to buy the iMac - then Macworld blasted it for not performing with non native programs well... and now a co-worker just saw a fully loaded G5 with monitor for $1500...

No intel chip... but power.

Dunno... dark side is calling.

Fino,

until all programs run native i would stick with the powerpc chips. Get the G5 and prosper....

Wanking off to xxx vid on the ipod is dangerous..the ipod isn't spunk proof...

bunny out

ps: fino get ready for gintastics when you arrive!

I speak from experience, though the machine may be different, this last week has taught me how indispensible having a computer at home is, especially if you do any kind of art. No matter what you end up getting, computers at home are the best.

Mmm...gin. Sheriff, it's good to see there's a few of us gin drinkers left. I have the hardest time finding people who don't make faces about it, let alone drink it as one of their main beverages.

Though I've been seduced by bourbon and scotch the last couple of months..

You have worked with g%'s and know what they can do...

intel power management less inportant on a tower.

great for laptops..longer battery life.

Get the G5 deal.

there can be only one!

b.o.

Sheriff!! I am leaving early to attempt to beat the snow!

Can I sneak in your house and hang? Want me to hang in IC?

Kern said...

It's snowing there?

Can't wait to see Brokeback...

Kern said...

I haven't, but I've heard pretty good things. I just don't get out to the movies as much as I used to...

Hmm...well I think the last movies I saw in the theatre were Harry Potter and Walk The Line if that gives any indication. Though I did finally watch a sweet movie I got for my birthday called Le Samourai. It's a good French gangster film from 1967.

Alain Delon is one of the coolest guys who ever lived.

I liked it a lot. I agree with Jed's assessment completely that it basically succeeded in a lot of the ways that Ray failed. It felt more focused than Ray, and I felt that the characters were felt and interpreted by the actors rather than seeing them doing impressions of who they thought they were supposed to be playing.
