Friday Movie NEws

Hello All who worship in the house of Fino,

It is Firday again and that can only mean one thing, and no it is not that I went another week without really doing any work at the office, it is new movie day.

1. Wallace and Gromitt: looks very good. I enjoyed Chicken Run and the W&G shorts of the past. Fun for all.

2. Two for the Money: I saw this movie 7 years ago when it was called "The Devils Advocate". Enter at your own risk.

3. In Her Shoes: Chick flic with guy appeal...Ms. Diaz in her undies..need I say more.

Hope all have an enjoyable weekend. I will be sharing drinks with our fearless leader this weekend at the Kreitner Cabana so say a prayer of wellness for us both.

I just have to say that I am soooo excited about In Her Shoes. That is one of my all-time favorite books - I have read it probably 7 times.

Jed-o, have a good weekend...don't be too silly.

I'm probably going to the movies with my friends this weekend, but despite all of the films out in Seattle right now, I fear that finding some common ground will be a touch difficult with the selections out today.

If it were me alone, I'd really like to go see Serenity. Maybe we'll go bowling or something instead.

By the way, I need some assistance. I don't know if you guys saw my blog entry for yesterday, but I'm going to be applying for a freelance writing gig with Tiny Mix Tapes. It's an unpaid position, but in the underground music journalism scene it's quite a big deal. My question is, what review from the past should I submit? The only stipulation is that I can't use anything from the 360 Degrees of Separation columns because they don't fit the format. Any input would be super helpful as I need to send my writing sample by Wednesday of next week.

Thanks!

In Her Shoes is directed by Curtis (LA CONFIDENTIAL - WONDER BOYS - 8 MILE) Hanson.. nuff said.

Two for the Money is directed by D.J. Caruso... did TAKING LIVES which was terrible but also THE SALTON SEA which was really good... you decide.

W&G - who can pass that up!

Also - I have to see CORPSE BRIDE and SERENITY.

No time!!
