Aqua Teen is friggin' hilarious!!!

I'm WAY behind, though - used to DVR it when we were in Houston, had like 4-hours worth of unwatched episodes on the DVR when I returned it.

Master Shake: "That is the shiz-night!"

Meatwad: "'Cuz I am smart, boy."

I should start DVR-ing it again... Or, hell, I'll just rent the DVDs!! :)

Neighbor Carl "Uh hey there Shake man - thanks for mowing my lawn by lighting it on fire. NOW MY FRIGGIN HOUSE BURNT DOWN!"

I also like the evil Leperchauns who kept stealing crap from people at the end of the rainbow.

It is insane... but funny.

Looks like a good haul. Congrats!

About Gilmore Girls, I won't comment on the episode as a whole, but I have to be honest when I tell you as soon as I saw the logo on the box, I knew what Rory was getting. My reaction was as follows:

"Oh my god! That's a Hermes box!"

followed by

"He's giving her a Birkin, isn't he? Isn't he?! He did! Hot damn, he did!"

I thought it was interesting that they never disclosed the monetary amount of the item, so to break it down for everyone who may not know, I have heard that Birkins can fetch up to 10 G's, which is why everyone was freaking out. I thought it was refreshingly cute that Rory basically still has no idea what she's got.

That is true Kern Great Bag bad episode. I am very disappointed. We were waiting for something to happen. Next week better make things better or else......I don't know what but I do like the open ended threats

BC-Yes, in retrospect it was quite misleading. Though there were several lines that made me chuckle.

"Crusty Bulge?"

That was one of them...I know there were more, but I am terminally terrible at quoting things I haven't seen 300 times unless I write them down.

Hermes is awesome. I was just looking at some of their ties, and they are more expensive than some of the Burberry ties that I've bought new. Which makes them pretty darned expensive. I don't mind spending a lot on ties, though, as good ones last forever and you can't outgrow them like shirts and pants.

But that bag was quite fabulous.

Are you a girl...Secretly?? Cause dang you a can throw out a fashionable brand like no one's buisness. I am like Rory and had no idea what a Birkin is or that it was Hermes. Give me a $5.00 Spooky shirt from Target and I am pleased. I won't spend more than $20 on a purse so 10k ridiculous.

That's my girl Drea... I was thrilled not to know about the Birkin.

I particulary enjoyed Luke telling the kids to get on the giant vase!

I also got very upset... when Logan entered the guest house... and put his hand in the back pocket of Ror... I almost punched the TV.

She is like my little sister.. and I never got to stop that filth Stevens from getting his evil paws on her.

Kern - I think it is wonderful you know so much about the Birkin and Hermes line... now go get a girl. Geez man!

Kern said...

Well technically speaking Birkin is a model in the Hermes bag line. Named I believe after French actress Jane Birkin who did that famous song with French horndog/songwriter Serge Gainsbourge who did that song "Je T'aime..."

As far as me getting a girl, I've been trying!

I realize Birkin is a model in the Hermes line (you techincal reading bastard!!) but did not know the background on the bag... hmmm. You may need to watch more football.

(arm raise to head)
FOOTBALL!!!!

Um, I don't think that's the answer.

I do watch auto racing, I think that should score me some masculinity points.

By the way, I think the base price of the Birkin bag hovers around 6800, but can fetch up to 10 K, which is what I meant to say the first time.

This reminds me of why I do like to go to Vegas. I mean the showgirls and the debauchery are nice but the shopping is insane!

I'd forgotten about Neighbor Carl! For a secondary character, he brings some of the funniest shiz-night!

For some reason, the episode where they got the "magical" Foreigner belt-thing just popped into my head. Laughs!!

Where's Deit, by the way?

Kern said...

Looking back I think I may have put an extra "e" on Gainsbourg. I can never remember the right spelling.

KJ-The Barfblog was interesting, but slightly stomach churning. The sausage story in specific.

Kern said...

Deit: Well played, sir.

You probably didn't watch Gilmore Girls did you?

Kern said...

Handbag shopping...heh. I can't help it if I pride myself on being knowledgeable about several facets of the world. It's the wannabe librarian in me, I think.

Your party sounds like it will be fun. I hope Jed captures the ghastly debauchery. What are the Damfino legion going as, or is it a big secret?

Kern said...

Well, I...hmm.

But, you see...uh...let us not lose sight of the fact that I like Indy Racing, and uh...Playboy magazine, and women and their beautiful features.

I rest my case.

(Somehow I don't think that came off as very convincing)

Well, perhaps at Kern Returns '06 someone could bring some straight, single women and introduce me. I think that might help a lot.

Kern said...

I think I have managed to dig an inescapble hole here. I'm starting to feel as though I am becoming the Tobias of the Damfinoblog.

Let me say this, not only would I want to sleep with a woman at Kern Returns '06(I like the way that sounds), but I would generally like to be sleeping with women on a regular basis. A lot. I mean with the same one, not a lot of women. But I guess that would be fine too.

The above was actually a thinly veiled attempt at trolling for action actually. But not to prove anything. Just because I want some 'tang. Yeah! High five!

Kern said...

Aha! What company and what pattern is the china set by the way?

Kidding...only kidding. There was a deleted post in which I was asking for people to bring straight single ladies to Kern Returns '06. I deleted it because the ending seemed too much like pathetic begging. Still wouldn't mind meeting some ladies though.
