Quote of the day

Any Leno fans out there??

Last night on Jay Leno, Burt Reynolds told Jay that if he had "turned out" to be gay, he would have preferred to hook up with Willie Nelson. He figured that Willie is such a nice guy, they would still be together and it would have saved Burt a hell of a lot of money in alimony.

Wow ---- you just put down nearly the entire blog with that deit.

krysta jo said...

Oh, well, thank you.

krysta jo said...

That made me giggle as well!

Hello all. Good quote, good quote.

Deit: Great posts. I enjoyed them both.

What's new and exciting there? I woke up with a dizzy spells and a stomachache. My apartment is unbearably hot, and I toss around so much I get dizzy when I wake up.

I had some Yoo Hoo this morning, and now I'm drinking Vitamin Water. No Powerbar today, though. Original or otherwise.

Good morning Kern

Hullo, KJ. Sounds like you ladies and gentlemen are ready for the Dukes, then?

krysta jo said...

More or less.

Enthusiasm! That's what I like to hear. Sorry I was gone so long, I was down in the library. Again.

krysta jo said...

And by "Down in the library" you mean... "ignoring you silly people on the blog"

krysta jo said...

You know...it is such a joy to open this page and have a picture of Willie Nelson at the top. It's fantastic and almost like a dream come true.

Kern said...

No, no. I love you silly people on the blog.

Here's the thing about the library project. We have this software that prints barcodes for our files and what have you, and so higher management said that they want to apply the tracking abilities we have with the files to other things in the office. And the first thing they thought of were the 7000 volumes of our law library. So I'm working with three or so other people coordinating the entry of the materials into the system as well as the excising of the tiny little barcodes and the taping on the books. For 7000 volumes. And guess when they want it done?

End of August. Yeah. Go us.

Go Willie!

So, KJ, I heard that Jed played you some Ryan Adams, and you balked? What's up with that?

I know what song he played, and I admit, it probably wasn't the best introduction. He should have played you something like "Call Me on Your Way Back Home" or something like that. Don't give up on Heartbreaker yet, it's an awesome album overall.

Back to the library.

Kern said...

Anyone still there?

krysta jo said...

Kern said...

What's going on?

krysta jo said...

Nothing much --- about to die from starvation --- to the vending machine I go.

Kern said...

Mmm...vending food. What are you going to get?

Kern said...

Did you ever try thos mexirolls by the way?

I didn't get any when I was back in DM. :(

And a double frown on not getting to tackle Hardee's Monster Thickburger. I would have tore that mother up.
