Does this post have a point?!?

Sheriff here,

Watched the last 6 ep's of season 1 Arrested D last night.(kudos to Jed and his magic burner) What a f*cking great show. Fox you are dead to me.....except for FG, ADad and the National Football League.

Flop, his co-pilot Trish and their navagator Ella Pearl are taking the red-eye (Nissan Altima express, with steel wheels and snap on wheel covers, c'mon man...just kidding bro.) from Grand Rapids to the Kreitner oasis this evening. I wish them safe travel in the impending snow/rain storm.

On this very day six years ago at Pepper's Sports Bar and meat market in Waterloo, Iowa I met Miss Andrea Dawn Devore. My life has never been the same since. I love you Buttercup.

ps: Go Hawks

Nice one, Sheriff! Good to see that true love can happen outside of the confines of the movies.

Is it me, or are they kind of fiddling with American Dad? I thought I heard that show Free Ride is taking its spot...

Fox can choke on a bag of emu cocks for all I give a shit.

Oh, and safe travels to Flop, Trish, and Ella. Have fun!

Go Hawks. (When in Rome...)

Oh to be the Kreitner household for McCabe/Kreitner weekend o-fun!

Miss you kats... and lovsies to Drea and Greg!!!

So is anyone filling out a final four bracket? I didn't do one this year, but I might fill one out for the hell of it.

Damfino said...

Better get on it - games start in 57 min!

Duke vs. Tennessee - I suck.

Wow what a sweet husband. Thanks honey. I know everyone else is gagging at the sweetness. I love it.

I'm "answering" the last part of the post first, then the penultimate part, etc. (In other words, my reply will go in reverse. Or something like that. Uhhhhhhhhhh *drool*.)

Wow, I didn't know March 16 was your "met each other" anniversary. Wicked cool! We'll have a Coke or brew tonight after we arrive and throw the bags in the guest room! Yeah, little did you know what you were getting into! :)

Tricia or Trish, no Trisha. If I remember correctly, she gets somewhat upset by the "Trisha" thing. Just telling you for your benefit - I'd hate to see you be a victim of the Wrath of Trish.

Hey, my Altima is better than your Altima - uh, because you don't have an Altima. Damn it! That's one of the top 10 things to do: get the wheels replaced with alloy (factory) wheels. Or maybe some nicer, custom wheels. Oh, and technically they're not snap-on wheel covers - the lug nuts do hold the covers on. So there! :)

Yeah, I agree with Sheriff and Kern - I have only the 3 shows Sheriff listed as ties with Fox. (Although I would've gone with penguin cocks.) Other than that, Fox can SUCK IT!

Go Hawks - men and women! Go Clon- awwwwwwww... Damn.

Apparently, O.D.B. is cuggy - at least that's what my verification word (odbcuggy) says. Now, what "cuggy" is...

I have both men's and women's brackets printed off, have yet to highlight Iowa on both, and have yet to fill out both. Procrastinators unite! (Procrastinators unite meeting: time and place still to be decided.)

Thanks, Kern, for the safe travel wishes. I thought you were in Seattle, though? (Sorry, that was lame-o - it's my Friday today... That's the only excuse I got!)

After typing and reviewing my message I realized that I pulled a boner...2, 3, 4....and did the Trisha thing again. My old mind gets confused by the Trish usage. Trish or Tricia it is!

Sheriff has filled out his NCAA bracket and has gone 2-0 the last 2 years in the office pool. It also helps me to remember the "first met Andrea" date since that night all the games were on the tv's at the bar.

And if anyone even thinks about editing one of my post again I'll pull down my f*cking pants and beep, beep, beep, beeeeeeeeeeeep.

love,

G.O.B.

ps: Keep it clean for the younglings I will try.

Jed-My picks aren't much better I fear. I got Duke v NC at the end. I suck.

FlopTheNuts said...

It's all good, Sheriff!! We got you to put my nombre down with a Y instead of an I, the Trish thing will come, too. And remember, it damn near always could be worse - I had an Aunt who once spelled my name "Brien". WTF is that?!?!?! (God rest her soul. :) )

No props for the Yoda shout out?

Saw EP 3 this week..still had some Yoda in me. Let the filth commence.

Ya know - I thought the "Trisha" looked suspect. I try to keep the swearing off the main page - people pull this up at work and my little brother has been known to take a peek at things as well.

McCabe makes me laugh with his "God rest her soul" like that negates the bitter anger he has for being called Brien!

Really, I have never given a crap! I get called Jet-Chad-Jud... whatever... as long as it is not douche.

Or gunch.....

ooooh I just printed off my bracket too. I thought that working with guys I might want to know what the hell is going on. Remember some women pick the pretty colors and usually end up doing better. ooooooohh

FlopTheNuts said...

Oh, gawd!! You should see my men's bracket: IA vs. Duke in Elite Eight, Duke vs. AZ in the final, Duke winning, 122 total points in final game!! Plus, I have UNI (go Panthers!) beating Georgetown in the first round (only to lose to Ohio in the 2nd round)! I think I have a bit of a Midwestern bias - I have Illinois losing to Tennessee in the Elite Eight, Kansas going to the Final Four.

Maybe I should press CTRL-F (ctrlf) to try to find a clue? *Groan.* But, word verification strikes again!

Buttercup said...

wow and the IT geek strikes again

FlopTheNuts said...

That's Mr. IT Geek! :)

Damfino said...

Dude - I picked NI to beat Georgetown too - Stevens picked NI to beat OSU!!!

Kern said...

First we had Mr. F. Now we have Mr. I.T.

All of a sudden I got this vague notion of a computer programmer wearing gold chains saying, "I pity the foo' who don't respect Open BSD!"

FlopTheNuts said...

Oooo, UNI over OSU? I give the good ole' Panthers one giant-kill, then put 'em to bed. I picture it as UNI seeing themselves as such an underdog and getting so pumped up that they play out of their minds and pull off the upset over G-town. But then they'll be so drained from that win that they won't have enough left for the next game. Same story, just insert different team names. Don't get me wrong, I'd like to see UNI go as far as possible. Just being realistic, I guess.

Kern: I love it! I have some great mental imaging going. (Including Hannibal in the background, getting glared at by Mr. IT because he's somking around PCs.)

*Weak attempt at parallel between Mr. T's advice to kids and computing advice on.*
Defrag yo' hard drive, power cycle at least once a week, and don't spray Windex directly on your monitor!
*Weak attempt at parallel between Mr. T's advice to kids and computing advice off.*

Kern said...

I'm a terrible role model to today's youth, because there is filth and cursing all over my main pages. Since hardly anyone reads my blog anyway, it balances out I think.

Kern said...

Yr not supposed to put Windex directly on the monitor?

Thanks Mr. IT!

Actually, I had truly never heard that before...is it because the liquid could get inside or something?

I learn something new everyday.

FlopTheNuts said...

It's because of chemical reactions between the Windex (mainly from Ammonia it contains) and the coating (anti-glare, anti-scratch) on most monitors. You could get away with spraying cleaners directly on old, old monitors, but any monitor at least 5 years old (probably ones older than 5 years) has some sort of coating that can be damaged. It's not just because of Ammonia, either - whatever other chemicals are in the various cleaners today can hurt if sprayed directly on the scrren. Spray on the paper towell/rag first, then clean the screen. Foo'!! :)

FlopTheNuts said...

Grrrrrr. Should've said " ... and don't spray Windex directly on your monitor screen!" two replies ago.

And " ... on most screens." and " ... on old, old screens, but ... " and " ... has some sort of coating on its screen ... " in my previous reply.

Damn it!! And, that should be "screen", not "scrren".

And this is better than deleting the reply and re-replying? :)

I feel your pain. I have done some terrible postings in the past, due to the speed with which I was trying to type.

Kern said...

Heh heh. That's funny.

LOL and ouch at the same time! :) I blame society!!!!!!

Flop-Have you been watching Repo Man again?
