Coupons - this could hurt.

I am a sucker for a deal. I'll buy 39 "Houston Astros - 2005 World Series Champs" if I can get them for 22 cents a piece with free shipping. Thanks to the ubiquitous glory of the Internet, I can hemorrhage cash worse than the first company (a dot-bomb) did that I worked for out of college!

One site I check at least a couple times a day is www.slickdeals.net. Mostly tech-related deals, coupons, and such, but they do have posts for other things, like department store sales and coupons.

So, I visit the site today and the only deal for today I saw made me chuckle and get that sick feeling in my gut simultaneously: 20% off Coupon for DeepDiscountDVD.

(Pauses, waits to hear groan and vomit hit ground.) Jed, sorry, man.

There is an upside, though - if you wanted to make any other purchase (big or small) from DeepDiscountDVD, now is the time!

Anyone have any other deal/coupon/sale sites?

If you would've waited until today, sadly, yes. (But, then again, neither of us knew until this morning that DeepDiscountDVD would be having this sale...)

Wow, that's a hell of a deal.

Good show, Flop!

I just wish that there was someone selling computer equipment with an extra 20 percent off of already low prices...

By the way there is now a new post on my blog concerning the crazy lady from Trading Spouses the other night, and an amusing song which came from it.

BC, yeah, I wish there were more. As a matter of fact, there is more of the actual footage at the Trading Spouses page.

In fact...

Crazy!

Scroll down to the Trading Spouses thing and watch Marguerite Perrin. Yikes!

The Kreitners have aided the economy by taking "The King of Flop" up on his offer and we have purchased Willie Wonka with Gene Wilder (in wide screen you fucking savage) for the grand total including shipping of $9.50.

Sweet candy!

I should look into this cheap DVD business post haste!

I am so glad I taped that Trading Spouses lady. I am going to go home and watch it again, it was so funny.

Buttercup said...

You taped it.....that is me with a whiney and pouty face. I am so jealous. Now did you tape tape it or DVR it?????? Where can I get a copy of that episode. Daaaaannggg

Kern said...

I did the DVR thing. My VCR seems resistant to taping. I'm sure that they will eventually rerun it.

Or depending on your level of computer use, you might be able to do get a bit torrent of the episode. I've only used BT once or twice, so I don't even remember very well how to do it.

Someone's got to have it out there...

I got another good verification for Flop:

Though Marguerite Perrin acts as though she is fighting Satan, she actually seems possessed by the ultdevi.

TAAAAAAINNNNNTED! Their house is Dark-Sided!!!
