HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!

g

Take note, today is a marvelous day to celebrate the birth of our almighty Sheriff! He had his celebration last weekend (becuase he heads out for New Orleans this weekend) and won't be receiving my gift for a while... so we need to sing him a song to make sure he feels loved on this day of days!

I try to discover
A little something to make me sweeter
Oh baby refrain from breaking my heart
I’m so in love with you
I’ll be forever blue
That you give me no reason
Why you’re making me work so hard

That you give me no
That you give me no
That you give me no
That you give me no

Soul, I hear you calling
Oh baby please give a little respect to me

And if I should falter
Would you open your arms out to me
We can make love not war
And live at peace in our hearts
I’m so in love with you
I’ll be forever blue
What religion or reason
Could drive a man to forsake his lover

Don’t you tell me no
Don’t you tell me no
Don’t you tell me no
Don’t you tell me no

Soul, I hear you calling
Oh baby please give a little respect to me

I’m so in love with you
I’ll be forever blue
That you give me no reason
You know you’re making me work so hard

That you give me no
That you give me no
That you give me no
That you give me no

Soul, I hear you calling
Oh baby please give a little respect to me

Soul, I hear you calling
Oh baby please give a little respect to me

Happy Birthday Greg-san!

Jed-By the way, forgive my ignorance, but what songwriter wrote the lyrics you posted?

Hey no problem. I've spent the better part of the day in yesterday's thread talking to KJ.

I was talking to Matt Bauer about Erasure last night, and it came up in conversation at work today. Eerie. If you haven't been following the Taking one for the team thread, you've missed out on a lot of crazy stuff today.

the sheriff thanks the damfino crew for the warm wishes and is reminded of a Door's song "Love me 2 times"...not bad for an old fart like me!
