HOLY CRAP!!!!
Freaked is coming out on DVD... er... wait... I THINK IT IS OUT ON DVD!!! If you have never seen this gem from '94, it stars Alex Winter from Bill and Ted's fame... he also directed. 71 minutes of pure freak filled filth! The comedy is raw, fast, and addictive. Look for Mr. T as the Bearded woman.

I remember when this came out, but I never saw it. I think it was around the time MTV gave Alex Winter his own sketch comedy show, which was short lived of course.
Actually, I remember thinking it was pretty funny. They had this really terrible sketch once called "Eddie The Flying Gimp". How the hell they ever got away with that is beyond me...
Never seen it... sounds pretty good
I remember that!!! Damn, that show was funny.
Look for the flick - they have rastafarian eyeballs with machine guns... funny stuff.
I will buy it tonight.
Screw seeing War of the Worlds
I read a good review of War of the Worlds yesterday on CHUD.com.
no jack
ur not breaking plans once again
god u suck
u r so non dependable
What plans?
Non-dependable my @ss!
plans to see the movie on friday jack ass
Gentleman, gentleman...please.
Eyes on the prize.
There are hookers, co-eds and chicken dinners to be discussed.
Let's not lose sight of our goals.
I am still gonna see the movie on Friday... don't you know me. I waste all my dough.
But Freaked will be bought.. and loved.
I was about to freak all over you... yeah let's discuss
Steven's.. I need to borrow your cooler for a video shoot tomorrow. Cool?
(probably should have done this on e-mail)
Good morning boys. Alex...you can change your middle name but only if it is "Classie" because that's uber-special.
Here's my entertainment from last night after I finally left work (nearly 8 p.m.).
I had just finished talking to Dan on the phone and then I suddenly started hearing noises and it sounded like someone was seriously in my house so I got all freaked out and my heart was racing. I grabbed my cell phone and went through my house turning on all the lights and checking the closets. Let's all remember that if I had actually come upon someone, my cell phone was probably not going to help much but I figured I could call 911 quickly. Hopefully. Anyway...no one was there, the doors were locked and I went back to bed and didn't fall asleep for another hour. I think the crappy neighbors must have had their dogs in my yard again and were too close to my window. HOPEFULLY. Either that or I have invisible people living in my house.
Hmm - ya know, I did get drunk and break into someones trailer last night... some crazy lady came out with her hands over her eyes... swinging something at me... I ran out the door and headed back to the bar for more booze.
Couldn't have been your place though... color was not sickk green!
It's not SICK green, it's LETTUCE green - the popular wedding color choice for summer 2003.
Oh I see.
Summer 2003 was big for mullets too!
so what if you would have met someone in the hallway? what would you do? It's only a hallway so not too many options right? Plus, I thought all trailor come equiped with a shot gun and mutt dog?
BTW is this a double wide?
I guess this is where everyone moved...I owned up to liking one current pop song in the last thread. Luckily no one noticed.
KJ-Sounds scary. It wasn't me. I was working on this week's column last night.
Did everyone go home for the day?
I am still here.
I have no idea what I would have done if I had actually met someone. I think at that point I had decided that I was better off facing my death than letting it come find me nestled in my bed.
My trailer is a single-wide and it did not come with a shotgun for fear I would accidentally off myself. No dog either. However, for a brief period of time the washing machine was on the front lawn. That was a real treat.
I think you should get a Kegerator.
Now those...those are useful to have outside.
Back to the phantom intruder. I'm just glad there was nothing there and that you are ok. That kind of stuff is really scary when you live alone.
I technically have a roommate but she's shacking up with my brother for the summer (unbeknownst to her parents) so I get a little more freaked out than usual. For a moment I thought it might have been her crawling in the window. That's when I really got scared.
I'm such a ninny.
This is going to sound stupid, but here goes: Is there something wrong with the door, or does she make a habit of crawling through windows?
She has figured out how to get in the house if she forgets her key. Don't worry, the neighbors do that too. Well just the nice and hot neighbors.
Ooooh...the maintenance person coming through the window for a "routine checkup"?
Oh, and did you get Mexirolls?
No by the time I left work last night I was tired, it was raining and I was talking to Dan on the phone so I didn't do the drive-through. I went home and had frosted mini-wheats. YUMMY.
Mini Wheats! Yay!
If you do get Mexirolls, I want to know what you think of them.
I'll let you know - for sure. Did you delete a comment?
Uh, perhaps?
That is IT. You crazies all keep deleting comments.
I made reference to the Janitor, and I thought that was probably something you would rather forget about.
Unfortunately, I inadvertently just brought it up to explain why I deleted in the first place.
Crap.
Way to go slugger.
I haven't seen the janitor in weeks. I was semi-rude to him the last time I saw him (in other words, I ignored him and continued doing my work) so I think we are through.
I did hear that he had to move out of his apartment.
Ah. Well sorry to bring up the past.
Perhaps we can go back to talking about the sweet deliciousness that is Frosted Mini Wheats. Were they Brown Sugar or Regular Frosted?
Regular frosted and I put a banana in it as well so I was super healthy!
Yikes. I fear bananas. They are one of the most evil fruits ever.
Actually, I don't eat much whole fruit. But I like natural fruit flavors!
If only I flung poo on others, you could consider me a monkey - I love bananas that much. I probably buy them at least once a week.
I am a fruit lover, though I do not like papaya or other odd fruits. I am a mainstream fruit girl: apples, bananas, oranges, strawberries, etc. Though I do not like cherries, but that makes me unique.
Wow, getting the image of you even potentially flinging poo is going to most likely be stuck in my brain the rest of the afternoon.
Changing the subject, I got some more of this week's column done at lunch. This week's is SO big, and SO spectacular, that I had to start yesterday.
Wow - I am totally amazed. You must really have no life. Just kidding!! I am excited - what are you writing about this week?
Don't you want to be surprised?
And no, I really don't have a life. It's true.
/sniffle
I was JUST KIDDING of course!
Actually I love surprises, but they about kill me. And...I cannot keep a secret. It's just part of who I am.
I know yr kidding. I wasn't however. Hmm...that's quite a combination. I guess it's probably best to wait until Friday. I'll give you a tidbit though.
After the column name I always have a subtitle for the week's theme. This week's theme is cryptically entitled, "If You're Happy and You Know It..."
I have probably already said far too much. Hopefully you and I are the only ones reading this thread at this point anyhow.
Ta da!
I think we are the only two left at our computers. I think I am going to like this week's.
I like it so far. Potential spoiler: There are five or six albums this week. I can't remember the total number. But's it's a lot. Or seems like it anyway.
Potential Spoiler 2: Instead of being about things related to one specific genre, the albums are quite different, some of them. Some share slight similarities, but that's coincidental. These albums are instead related by theme or feeling.
Man, I'm just spilling all the damned beans!
Almost.
You are totally rocking. I really like to know things before everyone else!!!
Consider yourself privleged.
I always do! But I am feeling really special today.
I do what I can. Did I read that Jed is not going to be here tomorrow? He's going to be out shooting?
He is out all day tomorrow and I believe at meetings on Thursday and Friday this week. So I gather he'll be pretty sparse until his return from next week's vacation.
Damn. And he returns Friday the 8th right? Well, he won't probably be in to work that day. Hmm...
Ah well. At least I have the rest of the Damfinobloggers!
Exactly - and we are at least as cool as Jed-o.
I am so way cooler!
SO big, and SO spectacular--why is this is a reacurring phrase when people talk to me?
I am going to vomit on all of you.
