Lost Weekend
Somehow the weekend escaped me. I did not get anything accomplished - although I somehow did pass out drunk both Friday and Saturday nights (neither evening was I at a party drinking - it was all done sitting in front of the TV).
Shannon had his 30th birthday party - Cara ran her heart out in Chicago - Josh ventured into $.50 turtle neck land - Devin suffered through drunken Jed giggling his heart out to Scrubs (that is about the best I can do in comparison to Cara) - Jerry cooked a mighty man meal for Sopranos - Sopranos RULED!!!!! - finished off The Shield season 4 - never got out to see Slither - spent waaaay too much at youthful clothing store attempting to buy my way into the fashionably hot world... and I played jump rope.
Mmmmmm - jump rope.

Jed,
You can not be left alone on weekends anymore. Cara must be there to keep you from your slow slide into madness.
b.o.
ps: great scrubs pic...yummy
Jer had the pic in his magazine... I thought it yummy as well.
I know - being Cara-less is frightening and unhealthy... she is leaving on a cruise in a few weeks. Gone for 7 solid... better prepare the liver!
I would just like to say that Jed's drunken passing out on Friday night was in the presence of Cara, neither me nor Josh were anywhere around.
How can you post a pic like that and expect me to compose a coherent reply?! Yowza!
I didn't get too much done this weekend, either. Well, not near as much as I wanted to, anyway.
I'll be able to keep Damfino occupied at least one weekend, although I'm hoping C-Note can be with him said weekend: my poker party weekend! I'm still trying to come up with a date to have the party. (Really just an excuse to invite Damfino, Shua!, Ain't Right, C-Note, Sheriff, Buttercup, and anyone else willing to make the trek, to my place. But poker will be played!!) Since it's anywhere from a 7 to 9 hour drive to Grand Rapids from DM, I wanted to have it on a holiday weekend. I'm thinking Memorial Day weekend. (The closest upcoming holiday yours truly gets off.) How's that sound to everyone? I'm guessing and hoping no one has a family tradition or anything like that for Memorial Day. I'll even grill steaks one night, c'mon! :) Just trying to get a feel for everyone's schedules.
dead silence......I'm in I think.
Thank you, Buttercup!! If you're in, I'm pretty sure Sheriff is in... :)
Anyone else?! C'mon - poker, drinks, steaks (well, at least one night), Ella, the exciting town of Kentwood. How can you resist?!?!
Sounds like fun, Flop. Wish I could make it. Though I hope you will be able to perhaps make it for Kern Returns '06.
Jed-Steel your liver and your resolve. I don't want you passing out when I come back unless it's relatively close to dawn.
I wish you could, too, Kern. Perhaps make it?!?! I plan on doing just about whatever it takes to make Kern Returns '06!!!! (Notice the way that was carefully worded - with the Damfino bunch, I know better!)
Flop-Excellent, excellent. It will be a raucous, debauched time and we will party like it's 1899. 1999. That's what I meant.
The sheriff, buttercup, lilly and tulip...the whole Tea Bag Posse..are in for the end of May.
Steak me up biatch!
b.o.
Now I'm all hungry and stuff...
Sheriff-The new Bunny pic...I'm lovin' it.
I am too...and all that it represents!
Filth perfection.
T-Bone
