Jed: I'm sure your Batman underoos are probably in the hamper like usual.
By the way, Jen's dad sent me an e-mail at work. She got sent up again for forgery. Guess I'm glad I didn't make plans to see her when I come back.

Kern - I am sorry to hear about Jen... that kid seems destined to have a rough ride.

Jed: It's kind of a sad thing, really. Especially when I think about the fact that she was over watching Douglas Sirk with me at your house last year. What's really sad is that her dad said that due to her lack of self-control, he thinks prison is probably the best place for her right now. I'm debating on whether to write letters this time or not.
