I have been kind of waiting in the wings to see what would happen, and I figured someone would have to tip the scales to end this thing. I have to say while there are pros to Blu-Ray, I am always a little leery of Sony's propensity to implement fun little proprietary formats and other shenanigans like the dreaded Rootkit incident.
Eventually I'll get on board once it's a bit more standard.

I actually found this a few weeks ago and it made me sad the blog was not still up.
Hopefully Kreitner views it... He is all HD-DVD in... I am neutral owning both HD-DVD and Blu-Ray.

with new lower pricing all those stand alone hd-dvd players will not be ignored by the money loving studios.
they will not leave that much jing on the table by not supporting hd-dvd too.
